Econet Unveils State Of Art Customer Service, Contact Centre

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has officially unveiled their Customer Service Charter and Contact Centre at their Graniteside Branch in Harare, showcasing mastery of class as they engage Aura  and Jasco leading consultancies in the business.

With the Customer Service Charter and Contact Centre; Econet is determined to live by the world class standards with strategies such as market leadership, revenue diversification, leverages synergies, business efficiency and stakeholders.

“Econet Customer Service Charter comprises of the Bill of Rights for our customers, which is to be available on all Econet platforms, and the service standards that will also cater for the customers”, says chief commercial customer services officer, Mr Stanely Henning. He added that, Econet saw a necessity  to respond to the customer’s needs whilst fully equipped with detailed information thereby investing in the project.

Henning also emphasised that, this customer centre strategic thrust is made to consolidate Econet’s market leadership and to show the differentiation on world class service delivery for the building of our nation.

For the progress of this service Econet wireless has to engage several partners which are leaders in their relevant fields. Aura (a leader in Customer Service Centre Provision) and Jasco enterprises have been engaged so as to make sure customers are engaged in all walks of life.

“Through Jasco Enterprises, there would be a full IP contact address where Econet agents will be able to work with the customers from anywhere to deliver the services”, says Jasco Enterprises representative.

The creative part of the service that is coming the way is that customers will contact the service centre through email, self-service social media and the sms. This is to make lives of customers easy as they are presented with a choice on which platform to use.

“Human beings were designed to communicate and to be creative so as to up an initiative that allows customers to get in touch with the service provider, says  Econet CEO Douglas Mboweni. He added that, laws of business is to invest for the customer and to focus more on the customer relations.

As such, Econet has vowed to commit on serving their customers so that they will ensure their long stay at the top of the market.
