Econet Call And Win Contract Promotion Handsover a Chevrolet Cruze

Econet held its Call and Win Contract Promotion Handover ceremony on Thursday 10 July at its Msasa offices.

Gracing the event was Stanley Henning (Chief Commercial & Customer Services, Econet) who presented the inaugural winner Nyaradzo Nhendere her prize. A brand new Chevrolet Cruze.

Mrs N Nhendere is one amongst 19 000 contract customers who consistently spent more than $50 since the promotion began.

In her own words Nyaradzo Nhendere said, “Econet has awarded me their grand prize, a Cruze, a Chevrolet Cruze …mileage is zero, it has plastic on the seats, Econet has helped me to realize that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask, this is an answered prayer…“
She actually has four lines from Econet and her relationship with them spans over 15 years.




Mr Henning said The Call and Win promotion is a first for Contract Customers and it aimed at rewarding their loyal contract customers for their continued loyalty and support over the past years. The Promotion started on 1 February and ended on 31 April 2014.


To qualify for the prizes, contract customers had to spend or be billed $50 or more per month for the duration of the promotion.

Monthly prizes were given away in the form of 5 Samsung Galaxy S4’s and 5 i-Pads per month, from February to April 2014. This essentially means that to date 30 smart devices have been given away to winners and loyal contract customers.

Econet continues to do more and more for their customers, they recently launched the Platinum Loyalty Card and the Platinum Suite and have followed through with the Call and Win Contract Promotion. More is definitely in the coming, expect more loyal Econetians.
