Econet Broadband goes down routes via Bulawayo

Econet broadband subscribers yesterday were switched off for hours in the Sunday morning.
Subscribers were not getting any Internet access from around 8am a service which was only resumed way after 10am on the same at.

A simple tracert test we did around 10 am when service resumed confirmed that the Traffic was now being routed via Bulawayo, which is liquid Telecom’s redundant’s link.
However Voice calls were not disrupted by this glitch.
There are chances that the Liquid Harare-Mozambique link is down
We are yet to get comments towards the data connectivity blackout and the Bulawayo Rerouting link
