DStv Zimbabwe is not accepting electronic payments from subscribers using POSB Bank cards insisting that they only accept United States dollars.
This reporter found out that POSB customers were denied paying for their subscription at one of the branches.

“We do not have money at the moment, if you want to pay for your DStv account please pay using United States Dollars and not bond notes nor cards,” said a bank teller.
The teller explained that the reason they were denying payment using bank cards was an order from DStv.
Efforts to get comment from DStv Zimbabwe were fruittelss by the time of publishing.
This development at POSB comes hot on the heels after CABS operationalised a single payment per subscriber per month through system through its banking channels as a way of managing foreign payments.
CABS followed the directive to allow single payment per month for DStv payments.
DStv is MultiChoice’s digital satellite TV service that provides various bouquets offering general entertainment, movies, lifestyle & culture, sport, documentaries, news & commerce, children, music, religion and consumer channels to MultiChoice subscribers.
In Zimbabwe many people have resorted to for entertainment news sports and many more instead of ZBC TV .
