Computer Society’s Quantum Leap Conference at Victoria Falls is now very close and we expect the resort town to explode in “Techactivity” from the 14th -15th of November 2013

Top of the list amongst other issues are going to be discussions on money-laundering, governments’ role on citizens’ privacy and globalisation of software services to top up on the main attractions at this year’s CSZ Summer School.
The Computer Society of Zimbabwe revealed that “Ways of seeing how to compete in global markets, and placate citizens’ demands for better standards of living, Zimbabwe and Africa as a whole has to make huge strides, in fact a Quantum Leap, in the way their economies perform.”
The Computer Society of Zimbabwe opens debate on current ICT concerns at its Regional Summer School 2013 from 14-15 November 2013.  There is focus on all economic sectors of the Zimbabwe economy with lead speakers from the local, regional and international arena
This year, 10 students from our State Universities around the country are being sponsored to attend and to participate at the “Quantum Leap” Summer School of the CSZ being held at the Victoria Falls from 14- 15 November 2013.
One session involving the students is the “Liberating Technologies” workshop, where local Android developers, such as Tawanda Katsaruware, will be show-casing their skills.  In addition, mobile business technologies shall be discussed in detail.
“Because changes in ICT are so dynamic, and affect the entire organization, not just those in the ICT department, CSZ has opened up this year’s Summer School to top management in commerce and industry, as well as government departments and local authorities.” said a statement.
Anyone wishing to register for the “Quantum Leap” event should contact Steve
