The 5,000 seater indoor venue will be a Fan Park for football enthusiasts for the duration of the world football showcase.
“We are offering an exciting package to our customers to watch the World Cup matches live in a safe and secure environment,” Madzivanyika told an annual general meeting for the hoteliers group in Harare yesterday.
“Our customers can bring family and loved ones to watch matches for only USD15.00. This amount covers a six pack of beers or non-alcoholic beverages of choice. A VIP section has also been set.
A number of games will be played way into the night due to the five-hour difference between Zimbabwe and the host nation, Brazil. However, Mr. Madzivanyika reassured all supporters in that an overnight arrangement has been made at the Rainbow hotel for USD89.00 which includes bedding facilities and breakfast for the following morning. Brazil is on GMT -3 while Zimbabwe lies on GMT +2.
Madzivanyika said the 5 000-seater indoor venue will be a Fan Park for football enthusiasts for the duration of the world football showcase.
“We have two eight by five-metre high definition television screens that will be used for the fan park, and we urge our clients to come watch the games in a thrilling and safe environment,” Madzivanyika added.
The once-in-four years World Cup final match will end on July 13.
