Apple announces new products to be launched.

Apple just concluded its first product launch event of the year, unveiling new Purple iPhone 12, iPads, iMacs, a 5G iPad Pro, the M1 chip, an AirTag lost-device tracking device, and a 4K TV.

Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the event with details about Apple’s environmental activities while walking around Apple Park, Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California. Cook mentioned that Apple is carbon-neutral and plans to eliminate 1 million tons of carbon from the environment every year.

iPad Pro

The new iPad Pro is powered with the same Apple-designed M1 chip that powers the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.

Apple calls the Liquid Retina XDR display on the iPad Pro 12.9-inch model an update that uses 10,000 Mini LEDs.

The new 12-megapixel ultrawide camera on both iPad Pros will automatically track you during video calls.

It also has a new USB-C connector, which allows the iPad to connect to higher-resolution monitors and easily transfer images from a camera.

5G support will be available on some versions. The 11-inch edition costs $799, while the 12.9-inch version costs $1,099.

Apple’s custom M1 silicon powers the latest iMacs. The iMacs have a modern, slimmer design and are available in a variety of colors, including red, blue, purple, orange, yellow, silver, and green.

It has a built-in 24-inch monitor, a camera that can capture 1080p video in low light, and a 4.5K resolution display.

They will also have a new wireless keyboard with Touch ID authentication.

The new iMac is available in four colors for $1,299, and in seven colors with better specs for $1,499.

Apple has finally released AirTags, its own smart tag that can be tracked using the Find My app.

It has a battery life of over a year. It makes use of an Apple feature called Find My, which uses a network of iPhones to locate missing items.

It employs a practice Apple refers to as “precision searching,” which the company claims is privacy-sensitive. The AirTag can be purchased for $29 or in a four-pack for $99.

Apple unveiled a new Apple TV 4K, which uses the same A12 Bionic chip used in the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR to optimize the picture quality of the TV. It can now play HDR and high frame rate videos, resulting in more dynamic and smoother visuals.

It also includes a totally revamped aluminum remote with physical buttons.

The price for 32GB of storage starts at $179.
