Three Zimbabwean Students who participated on the ICT global Competition on Network category are now are going to participate on the Global Competition to be held in China from the 24th of May to the 28th .
The successful students students are to leave Zimbabwe on the 21st of May 2023, under the international competition and exchange platform.
The Three high-performing best students were selected after regional level online exams to represent at the final global level, two best students from University of Zimbabwe and the other one from TelOne Centre for Learning were selected.”
The Huawei ICT competition was seen as a great opportunity for the students to secure as much knowledge as possible so as to contribute to the economy of Zimbabwe.
The Huawei ICT Competition is intended for students in Huawei ICT academies and those in higher education institutions that are willing to join the ICT Academy worldwide.
Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange ideas, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills as well as increasing their ability to innovate by using new technologies and platforms. Sin
ce the first edition in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition’s influence has only kept growing. The Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 is currently underway, and it has attracted 120,000 students from over 2,000 universities and colleges across 74 countries and regions.
