The government through the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has urged learners to embrace e-learning platforms notably Ruzivo as the nation is engaged in a 21-day lockdown drive.
The lockdown declared by the President Emmerson Mnangagwa few days ago is aimed at combating the spread of the pandemic coronavirus.
In a statement, the Ministry said it’s high time learners adopt the electronic platforms to access study and other educational related materials.
In announcing the move, the government endorses Econet Wireless’ educational platform, Ruzivo as the best platform for local learners.
“As the Ministry attempts to come up with a raft of measures to engage its learners,parents/guardians are urged to encourage learners to continue studying,”read the Ministry’s press statement.
“In the interim ,learners are advised to log into the Ruzivo platform:www.rdl.co.zw for study materialas and other educational related material.”
Primary and Secondary schools were closed prematurely due to the world pandemic of the Corona virus. Higherlife the Ministry’s partner has availed this platform at a zero rate aswell.
