Impact Hub Harare is launching a one-month holiday Coding Bootcamp for children between the ages of 8 to 20. The program is a weekend class designed to enable students with coding proficiency.
The bootcamp will start on the 15th of November and registered children will get an opportunity to learn about scratch programming, virtual reality, and basics in robotics.
According to Impact Hub, the program is intended to help children focus on the most important aspects of coding and immediately apply their new skills to solve real-world problems.
“The Coding Bootcamp will foster logical thinking and teach young children how to tackle complex problems by breaking them down into smaller problems which are easier to manage and solve. Even if the child does not pursue a career in programming, they will benefit from learning these concepts as they will become better communicators,” they said.
