NetOne has explained the rationale for repackaging the One Fusion bundles saying it was a strategic move meant to pave way for other products.
NetOne told Technomag that they had to tweak the bundles since subscribers once complained that they were failing to download Facebook videos using One Fusion bundles.
It is no secret that there has been an outcry from the subscribers on the failure to play videos on Facebook. The newly repackaged NetOne One Fusion bundles have addressed the issue and subscribers have confirmed the increased service provision with respect to the Facebook videos.”
In a statement the company said, the validity period for the $3 One Fusion has been reduced by two minutes for OffNet Calls. The $5 One Fusion is now valid for 21 days, down from 30 with 90mins OnNet, 10mins OffNet from 18, 300MB Data unchanged, 350MB Whatsapp, 350MB Facebook and 25 SMSes.
Ten Dollar One Fusion now valid for 21 days as well maintains 130mins OnNet, 40mins Off Net, whilst data has been reduced by 100MB to 700MB from 800MB, 450MB for Whatsapp, 450 MB for Facebook, 450MB for Twitter and 50 SMSes.
The monthly validity for high end bundles remain untouched.
“The $20, $50, $100, $150 and $200 One Fusion packages have maintained the monthly validity with increments in OnNet calls and SMSes, reduction in OffNet, Data and Social Media bundles,” said the company.
NetOne Acting CEO Mr Brian Mutandiro confirmed the development reiterating subscribers stand to benefit from the changes implemented.
“We are really excited about these new offerings. They are tailormade to ensure that service provision is enhanced through increased access to voice, data, social media and SMS services provided by NetOne. This is in tandem with our pledge of being customer centric as we believe in offering a sustainable world class service,” said Mr Mutandiro.
