LOCAL IT solutions company Afrosoft was recently awarded the Most Trusted Brand in the ICT Sector by the Chartered Institute of Consumer Relationship Management. The company found favour in the eyes of consumers who voted them to clinch the award.
Afrosoft CEO Engineer John Mberi said this award was testimony of the ‘honey sweet solutions’ they give their customers.
“Team Nyuchi (Team Afrosoft)” is elated by this relationship with its market and therefore we would like to express our greatest appreciation to the consumers of our services for such feedback. We promise our market more “honey” in our continuous quest for service excellence,” he said.
He also said the award proves how they have stayed afloat in the turbulent economic environment.
“That its ‘The Most Trusted Brand ‘ Voted by Consumers under this tempestuous and trying operating environment, says it all about our values and the bonding such has created with our market,” Eng Mberi said.
Afrosoft won several national and continental awards, including the African ICT Achievers Award for “Top ICT Innovative Company 2009.
The company last year launched Instapay, a mobile app for buying prepaid ZESA tokens. It allows users to buy prepaid electricity as well as airtime for all three mobile networks (Econet, Telecel and NetOne) with the option to make the payment via EcoCash and Telecash.
Afrosoft was established in 1999 and has since then lived through the roller coaster ride of Zimbabwean entrepreneurship.
