TelOne Unveils Bulawayo Wifi & Customer Service Centre

TelOne subscribers have all the reasons to smile  as TelOne unveils a new customer service centre  plus cool a wifi hot spot  sit in for its customers, which was officially opened last Thursday by the ICT Postal and Courier Services Deputy Minister Hon Win Mlambo.

The new beautifully designed TelOne Bulawayo Centre  has a fully fledged customer service centre with dedicated support personell and separate internet hotspot section broadcasting wifi over 80m for outside clients to hook on their hotspot as well.

This client service shop was opened in compliance with Government’s telecommunications requirements that telecommunications companies should provide real value to their customers and also in a bid to improve customer care and reduce capital expenditure.

“The Bulawayo Main Client Service shop came about through technology modernization, which resulted in the miniaturization of technology leaving huge redundant space in exchanges.“This innovative measure by TelOne to convert redundant space into client centers again shows strategic focus to cut costs while enhancing convenience for customers.“As a ministry, we implore such initiatives that help to cut capital expenditure for business in turn reducing the overall cost of business,” he said.

He said his ministry takes issues of customer experience seriously, which has seen the industry regulator Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) coming up with telecommunications guidelines to ensure the sector gives value to clients.

“Customer experience is now the key differentiating factor in an industry where technological advancement is at par among players. It is therefore heartening to see TelOne making such efforts to bring convenience and enhance experience to their clients,” he said.
TelOne said the shop becomes a one-stop centre for customers where they will be getting their billings, inquiries, data services, voice services and any the company’s related matters all under one roof.

So one can simply be browsing on the internet while making use of TelOne Wifi  as they wait in the queue to pay their fixed telephone bill or data service bill.

The centre which is located at the corner Leopold Takawira and Fort street is hard to miss with the company’s blue and white brands so visible and with a few changes so many people who once passed the place are now sure to stop by and check it out or chill on the benches which are  public WiFi hot spots.

TelOne seeks to keep on bringing the nation together as the customer centre is set to attract more customers at the same time increasing its revenue.
