Bulawayo based tech startup Darlington Muzari has developed a multi tasked application, “the academy report” system that is set to transform the education sector as it offers schools an opportunity to manage their systems and affairs online.
Parents and school staff many a times have a torrid time knowing whats going on in their kid’s lives during school time. That is now a thing of the past as the the new application is both web and mobile based meaning the public can access it both online and on their mobile phones.

In an interview with TechnoMag, Muzari said Academy Report is an online integrated system that can be used by schools to manage their affairs in a bid to reduce fraud and abuse of resources by school authorities.
“”The App is also meant to build a bridge between parents and the school and communities so that parents are involved in the everyday activities at schools.
“We also want to create a standardized procedure for solving problems, for example if anything goes wrong at school, you find that its not solved in a transparent manner. So we have created a system that addresses that. You also find that most school do not have back-up systems, you hear at times that a bursar has been issuing fake receipt books to pupils, this system addresses that,” said Muzari.
Muzari added that the system also helps school heads to to more accountable as they perform their duties . it can be noted this system is online based which makes it safe from being tempered with by any mischievous students.
This application assists parents to monitor their child progress at school without having to go to the school. Muzari also attributed that this system would also act as a back up system which would enable school to be safe from incidents were they loose all educational and financial information.
The system also allows parents to check results of their children directly online from wherever they are and also enables teachers to insert their marks into the system and it will instantly update information.
