Few minutes back, Pastor Evan (39) got freed from the charges of inciting violence and causing public disorder in Zimbabwe after he famed #ThisFlag, A move which ultimately caused a national shutdown and stayway, trending on twitter as #ShutDownZimbabwe2016.
Today, Zimbabweans and the world over created a new #Hashtag, which ultimately was trending on Twitter as by 12mid day #FreePastorEvan, as activists started campaigning for his freedom, which ultimately was granted few minutes back by the magistrate court.

Zimbabwe authorities changed charges against Pastor Evan Mawarire to subverting a constitutional government, a charge serious as treason.
Thousands had changed their twitter profile names to FreePastorEvan in solidarity.
Just after his release, Pastor Evan made an address to thousands who were still gathered outside as many broke into songs inside.
A police warrant, said they were looking for a “stolen police helmet, button stick (sic) and other subversive material, which he used to incite violence on July 6, 2016 and others for intended use on July 13, 2016 for public violence”.
