Aruba Networks an HP company from the United States will hold meetings in Zimbabwe on Wi-Fi and connectivity education targeting businesses; hospitality, medical and education sector from tomorrow the 18th 19th and 21st of this month in Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria falls respectively.
Solution Centre, a certified Aruba networks partner in Zimbabwe will facilitate these meetings which will hold an agenda on how to choose access providers and secure high speed wireless network solutions for various entities.
The prowess of Aruba network products is echoed by its elite client base which include Microsoft and Google among others.
Aruba Networks’ presence in Africa is gradually increasing after the company infiltrated the South African market and now has extended further to Zimbabwe.
This Wi-Fi education initiative comes at a time demand of the service has rapidly increased as the market is now characterized with large volumes of portable Wi-Fi capable devices causing slowness on network speeds, vulnerability and congestion.
Econet and Tel-one have of late introduced pre-paid public Wi-Fi hot spots but it is only available on designated areas and compared to some countries like South Africa such services are free.
Therefore the country is in great need for enlightenment on these technologies to pave way for more abundant, efficient, secure and affordable Wi-Fi solutions for the public.
