Shingi Munyeza, a renowned business mogul in Zimbabwe has recently resigned from his initial partnership with the troubled, Convergent Communication Technology, (CCT) a move which left the founder, Tom Nyandoro in the cold as the other three strategic partners followed suit.
Its yet another Monday and the past few #MondayBlues column was digging in on Econet`s Hypocrisy, before we followed up on Potraz Boss Pushed out the and the internal politicking at Telecel Zimbabwe. We followed up on the Dismissal of StarFm boss and the sad developments hat preceded.
Nyandoro suffered a major blow as Phil Muchemwa his core founder also threw in the towel dumping the company they formed and registered together in October 2012 for a game changer that is set to shake the market.
#MondayBlues also received confidential Information from some legal experts close to the matter which suggested that Shingi is now working with the formation of a new company called KingVile, as Zimbabwe is now heading towards very exciting times, before the next quarter dawns.
Sources close to the matter divulged that Shingi Munyeza was disappointed by Nyandoro who has been extorting them forcing the group to call it quits, and press fraud charges against the founder, who is now left in the cold.
Tom Nyandoro has it on his LinkedIn profile that he is the senior program manager with CCT and from June 2011 to date which translated to 4years 1 month, with increased proposal rate by 120% in TV content VoD and OTT services among other accolades while on ground the company has not gained any traction.
Efforts to get comments from Mr Nyandoro were fruitless as his number was not reachable, but reports in the Fingaz suggested that he is the one dragging Mr Munyeza to court for breaching their initial contract.
Besides threats of dragging Shingi Munyeza to court, #MondayBlues could not get the evidence that the case is really now before any courts, reflecting that this is nothing but a case of sour grapes made to discredit each other in the public domain.
When we contaced the legal experts who can not be mentioned for obvious reasons, whom also have been reported to have been sued $5million dollars each laughed it off and said that
“my clients cant be sued for resigning, infact lawsuits are made by those who are disgruntled or forced to resign, it will be weird for any court of law to press charges against anyone for resigning, no breach of contract was ever occurred otherwise we are waiting to be served with the lawsuit”
Quizzed on how the new consortium will now move on, #MondayBlues gleaned evidence that showed that KingVile will be a game changer in the Zimbabwe and SADC Telecoms sector.
“All I can say is that the telecoms sector is ready for some further investments to bring our consumers to world standards, products, and services and one can not resist the opportunity” said a source close to the developments.
Kingvile is the investment vehicle that is being led by Mr Phil Muchemwa whois based in based in Brazil as founder and Chairman, Mr Francis Mawindi based in USA as CEO, Mr Tapiwa Matambo as the executive director while Mr Shingi Munyeza is the non-executive director for the group.
